Rebuilding, Restoring, Renewing, and Reigniting a Love for the Call of Christ
This past year has been one of restoration, renewed energy, and God-led direction at College Avenue Baptist Church in St. Maries. We’ve been rebuilding our foundation, strengthening ministries, and renewing our commitment to serving our community with faith and purpose.
Here are some of the meaningful ways God has been at work this year:
- Hosting community Thanksgiving meals, welcoming anyone to join us for fellowship and a good meal,
- Participating in Trunk-or-Treat, connecting with families in a fun and safe environment,
- Bringing kids together for Vacation Bible School, filled with learning, laughter, and Bible teaching,
- Celebrating Easter with a worship service in the park, gathering as one community,
- Joining the Paul Bunyan festivities with a special community-wide organized worship service in the park,
- Holding Family Movie Nights, offering a relaxed and fun way to connect with one another,
- Sharing joy through our Christmas Program, celebrating the story of Jesus with the community,
- Celebrating baptisms, rejoicing in lives transformed by Christ,
- Strengthening our leadership through committed elders who guide with wisdom,
- Refreshing Sunday worship, rebuilding our kids’ ministry, and deepening small group connections,
- Continuing our trusted 30+ year partnership with Greenacres Baptist Church, whose support has helped us take steady steps forward,
- And more…
Through all of this, we’ve held onto God’s promise: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” — Isaiah 43:19
We believe God is doing a new thing here—renewing hope, rebuilding community, and leading us into the future with purpose.
